Easter Sunday Service at Pilgrim Uniting Church

All are invited to the on Sunday 5th of April 2015. Commencing at 11am, the service will feature Mozart's Sparrow Mass (K. 220) performed by the Choir of Pilgrim Church, soloists and a chamber orchestra. A brass choir will also join the organ in accompanying the hymns.As a postlude, Pilgrim organ scholar Alexander Paine will perform a new composition by young Adelaide composer Sebastian Phlox (Elder Conservatorium of Music). The piece is an exciting French-style toccata called 'Tremblements', and was especially commissioned by Pilgrim Church.Musical direction is by Peter Kelsall.Come along this Easter Sunday and embrace this rare opportunity to experience orchestrated sacred music in a liturgical setting.For more information on this upcoming event, please visit www.pilgrim.org.au
