The Easter School Holidays are the perfect time to explore our amazing city, Brisbane. The weather is not too hot and not too cold and this year there are some excellent indoor and outdoor activities being offered all around town to keep children amused over the holiday period. Below you will find a short list of the top ten most entertaining activities for kids. My Kid Craft is a great website for some Easter themed craft ideas and another website, Kid Recipes has plenty of inspirational child friendly cooking. Happy Easter and have fun.

1. Animal Encounters:

Visit one of the fantastic zoos and animal sanctuaries that are not too far from Brisbane. Most of the zoos, such as Australia Zoo, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and Walkabout Creek even run junior ranger programs, where kids can experience the wonder of looking after the animals for a day.

2. Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC):

There are a few live stage shows to attend these Easter Holidays at QPAC. Rogers and Hammerstein's, The King and I, will have you dancing in your seat and singing merrily out the door, while We're Going on a Bear Hunt is another popular stage show geared to entertain the little ones (aged three and up).
