Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery: Kids Workshops

Unleash your creativity at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery these school holidays with programs to suit kids 5 – 8 years old, and 9 – 12 years old. "Fabricate fantastic fish, craft kooky constructions and sharpen your design skills."

5 – 8 year old sessions are being held on Tuesday 29th March and Tuesday 5th April at 10am at a cost of $12 each participant.

9 – 12 year old sessions are are being held on Wednesday 30th March and Wednesday 6th April at 10am at a cost of $12 each participant.

Additionally, sessions are being held for VCE Art students. Develop your studio art folio and challenge your outlook with some fresh ideas and inspirations. Allow the artists to offer different perspectives and suggest ways you may be able to develop your themes and expand your thinking.

VCE Art sessions are being held on Wednesday 6th April from 1pm – 3pm at a cost of $12 each participant.

The MPRG is located at the Civic Reserve, Dunns Road, Mornington.

Frankston Arts Centre – Kids' Party Confidential

Sean Murphy presents his popular show, Kids' Party Confidential at the Frankston Arts Centre on Monday 4th April at 11am.

Part story-telling, part stand-up comedy, Kids' Party Confidential was a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and takes the audience on a journey through the 'highs and humiliations of the best birthday ever.'

Suitable for kids aged 5 – 12, Kids' Party Confidential was inspired by experiences gained over seven years working as a kids party entertainer.

Kids' Party Confidential is being presented at Cube 37 at the Frankston Arts Centre on Monday 4th April 2016 at 11am. Tickets are $15 each and can be booked online, over the phone or in person at the box office.

Party in the Park at Cruden Farm

Visit the beautiful Cruden Farm Estate in Langwarrin these school holidays for the ever-popular Party in the Park.

Being held on Tuesday 5th April 2016, from 10am – 2pm, this FREE day of fun will include craft, art, singing, dancing, colouring and much more.

Please Note: Children must be supervised by an adult/guardian at all times during this event.

Additionally, this event may be cancelled in the event of bad weather.

Cruden Farm is located on Cranhaven Road, Langwarrin and there is plenty of on-site parking.

Sock Snakes: Make your own sock puppet to take home and hear some snake stories.

Nissse to Meet You: Design a scaled snake and hear some snake stories.
Mornington Library, Vancouver Street - Tues 29th March, 2.30pm. Ages 5-12.
Rosebud Libaray, McDowell Street – Tues 29th March, 2.00pm Ages 5-12.



Red Hill Show

The whole family will enjoy this traditional country show on the Mornington Peninsula. From animals and displays to demonstrations and performances.

The Red Hill Show is being held on Saturday 26th March, 8.30am – 5pm at the Red Hill Showgrounds, Arthurs Seat Road, Red Hill. Entry fees apply.



Kids Fun Run with K163

Kids aged 3 – 12 are invited to participate in this first ever fun run alongside the vintage K163 steam train, raising funds for the Children's Unit at the Frankston Hospital

Sunday 17th April, 10am – 1pm. Moorooduc Railway Station 460 Moorooduc Hwy, Mount Eliza. Entry fees apply.
