On Sunday 5th April Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Riverside Cafe is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza for the whole family. This is the lovely little cafe at the entrance to Lone Pine. It has great views of the river, a play space for kids and plenty of tables and comfy chairs and couches. The event runs from 9am to 8pm and you do not need to go into the Koala Sanctuary to enjoy the day, although of course it is always fun to visit the koalas, kangaroos, dingoes and more.
There will be a giant Jumping Castle for the kids to bounce like Easter Bunnies and wear themselves out. This is a free activity and will be available from 9am to 6pm.
From 12-5pm there will be face painting at a cost of $5. Not only can your child bounce like a bunny but he or she can look like one as well.
To keep everyone well fed there will be an all day Sausage Sizzle starting at 9am and ending at 7.30pm. Food will be available for $5 and if it's anything like the Friday night BBQs hosted by the cafe this will be a delicious gourmet BBQ.
Settle in at 6.30pm for a screening of the movie, Hop, about young a rabbit who does not want to follow in the footsteps of his father, Mr. Bunny, in the role of the Easter Bunny. This is a free activity.
There will be a vist from the Koala Mascot who will hand out Easter treats and your chance to participate in an Easter Quiz and win some great prizes.

If you have an Annual Pass or just want to visit the Sanctuary you can also buy tickets to pop in to see the animals and then relax at the Cafe's Easter Eggstravaganza when you're done.
