There's a wood chopper creating wooden mushrooms - presumably for the garden. This is one guy who knows what he's doing with an electric saw. The crowds gathered to watch him work in the overcast weather, kids in tow. Each mushroom was slightly different from the last. I think these mushies are pretty impressive! He worked quickly carving into that solid piece of wood which wouldn't be an easy task, I'm sure.
Various Music Groups were around the market to entertain the masses. This couple "Azur" play a mixture of original songs which blended the djembe's earthy beats with a kind of jazzy tune. Its a pleasant way to pass the time and there's always someone interesting playing at the markets that you haven't seen before.
The Eumundi Pub "The Imperial" was well patronised. The top verandah had plenty of customers which is great to see. It's a pretty good view from up there, sitting back enjoying a beer and watching the passing parade.
