Win a Real Fossil and Paint a Dinosaur Egg to Take Home
The National Dinosaur Museum is an amazing place for families to have fun all year round. They are running a few exciting activities for kids every day in school holidays from 10-25 April, 2017. These activities are free with general entry and are as follows.

1. Egg-celent Dinosaur Egg Hunt : 10am to 5pm
Kids can win a real fossil to take home by participating in the Easter egg hunt and searching the museum display for answers on prehistoric eggs and babies.

2. Dinosaur Babies Tours : 11am, 2pm and 3pm

Kids can attend the special tours, highlighting the eggs and prehistoric babies, including the largest egg in the world. These tours celebrate the latest acquisition of the fossil dinosaur nest from France.

3. Paint a Dinosaur Egg : 12pm to 1pm

Kids can learn about the different shapes of dinosaur eggs and then paint a dinosaur egg to take home. All paints are washable.

4. School Holiday Competition:
Take a photo at the new Jurassic World Photo stop, post it on Facebook and the cutest images will win a prize. Look for the two yellow marks on the ground for where to stand and where to take the photo from for best results.

Children under 2 might get scared if they have to roam around in the Dinosaur Garden outside of the National Dinosaur Museum and might even get clingy whilst inside the Museum because of the moving and roaring dinosaurs (since there are no animatronic-free Tuesday mornings during school holidays).

This shouldn't stop the adults and the older children in the family from learning about the prehistoric times. The tiny toddlers can be taken to the children's area where they can enjoy reading books, watching TV documentaries, fossil rubbing, getting hands on with the beautiful stones or playing with puzzles and blocks.
