[ADVERT]Well, we are all looking forward to the Easter break and we all like to get outdoors and have some fun, so lets have a look at what might be going on this Easter.
Coming to Weekend Notes is a good start as there are some informative articles already to keep you updated to what might be happening.
Firstly, for the kids who all want to meet the Easter Bunny and collect a cuddle and hopefully a chocolate egg, take a look at where you can find everyone's favourite bunny with this article written by Lucy, as she has been checking out where the E bunny will be this year.

An annual highlight each year on Good Friday (6th of April) is the QantasLink Brisbane to Gladstone , starting from the shores of Shorncliffe. Festivities and events are organised around the start of this race and provide lots of fun and entertainment for adults and kids. The BlueWater Festival is host to these events over the Easter weekend and during the week.

The Festival of Sails, a colourful and fun event held every year, again on Good Friday, and promises to be a great day for both adults and kids. Head early to Sutton Beach, Redcliffe where the festival is held to beat the crowds.

A bit further afield is the Toowoomba Easter Fest, where there is a myriad of events taking place with ticketed entertainment. Looking at their website, it looks a lot like the Woodford Folk Festival set up where you can buy tickets for individual days ($60) or for the 3 x day event ($120), or add camping to the 3 day event ($155). Held at Queens Park Precinct, there is such a variety of entertainment that you really need to refer to their website to check out what you might be interested in.
