I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.

The Easter Long Weekend is approaching and you probably have an egg hunt planned for Sunday morning, but what about the days beforehand? Well, many local Westfield centres around Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong have some fun activities taking place that your children may enjoy as they wait (hopefully patiently) to get their hands on those eggs.
A Mad Hatter Easter Tea Party will take place on Saturday March 30, from 8.30am, in the Food Court on Level 1. Tickets cost $5.00 each and all proceeds from the sales will be donated to Waiora School for Children with Disabilities. They can be purchased from the Concierge Desk located on Level 2 and there are only 100 available, so get in quick.
Also on Saturday, there will be an Easter Craft Centre located at the Ground Floor Fresh Food Market. It will be open from 11.00am to 2.00pm and is free to attend.
Westfield Hornsby On Saturday March 30, the Easter Bunny himself will be making an appearance on Level 1, in the Fresh Food area, between 11.00am and 2.00pm. It will cost nothing for your children to meet him, but they'll sure enjoy it.
On Thursday March 28 and Saturday March 30, kids can have a turn at being the Easter Bunny themselves (or perhaps they have someone else in mind), with Easter Face Painting available on Level 3, near JB Hi-Fi, between 10.30am and 1.30pm each day. This activity is also free.
While you're at Westfield Hornsby, you may also like to enter the Easter Egg Guessing Competition. There will be a giant jar of eggs on display in the Fresh Food area on Level 1 from Thursday March 21 to Saturday March 30. If you guess how many eggs are inside (or just get the closest) you could win them all. Guesses can be submitted at the Concierge desks on Levels 2 and 3 (you are also required to sign up to Westfield Hornsby's email database to enter).
Westfield Hurstville A special Morning Tea With The Easter Bunny will take place on Saturday March 30 at the Centre Court on Level 1, between 10.00am and 11.00am. It offers kids the chance to decorate their own designer cupcake and cookie star (experienced chefs will be on hand to help). As the creations are then being devoured, the Eater Bunny will stop by for a special visit, giving every child a pair of Rabbit Ears and a small egg. Attendance at this event costs $5.00, with all proceeds going to Cerebral Palsy Alliance Penshurst. Bookings are essential and they can be made at the Concierge on Level 2.
The Easter Bunny will be roaming the centre and handing out delicious treats between Monday March 25 and Thursday March 28 March, and again on Saturday 30 March. He will be around between 11.00am and 2.00pm each day, but will take a 20 minute break every hour.
There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt taking place as well, because the Easter Bunny seems to have misplaced some of his eggs. Kids need to collect an entry form at the Concierge Desk on Level 2 and if they can find all six eggs and hand a completed form back in, they will receive a free Easter Gift and will also go into the draw to win additional prize packs. Details on what each pack contains can be found here.

Westfield Mt Druitt A special Afternoon Tea With The Easter Bunny will be held on Thursday March 28 outside Best & Less, where kids will receive an afternoon snack, meet the Easter Bunny and have fun with a craft activity. There will also be prizes on offer. The event begins at 4.00pm and tickets cost $5.00, with all proceeds set to be donated to Lifestart Nepean. Bookings can be made by visiting the Concierge, which is located near Target.
On Saturday March 30, there will be a Kids Easter Hunt running. Kids just need to collect a game card from Concierge, collect six stamps from the retailers on it, and if they are one of the first 80 to return it to the Concierge desks on Level 2 or Level 4 they can redeem it for a free goodie bag, which will be filled with products from Smiggle, Pumpkin Patch, Gymboree, Shoes & Sox and Looksmart Alterations. If you fill in the entry form at the bottom of the game card and present to Concierge for your chance to win an Easter Hamper!
Also taking place on Saturday at Westfield Parramatta is a Bunny Ears Craft Area, where kids can use a range of craft materials to decorate their own bunny ears. You will find the area in the kids precinct on Level 4 and it will be open between 11.00am and 2.00pm. Entry requires a gold coin donation and it will be determined on first in, first seated basis. All money raised will go to The Paediatric Gait Analysis Service for The Childrens Hospital at Westmead.
Before he sets out to hide all those eggs on Sunday, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance at the special Breakfast With The Easter Bunny on Saturday 30 March, at 8.00am. The event will take place at the Fresh Food Market on the Lower Level and costs $5.00 per child. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from the Concierge on the Lower Level, outside Myer.
