It's nearly Easter again, and for many children (and adults) that means one thing - chocolate eggs. If you're looking to incorporate chocolate treats with a day or evening out, then you're in luck, as there will be a number of Easter Egg Hunts being across the Geelong Region this year.
1. Adventure Park's 2018 Easter Egg Hunt - Wallington If you're looking for a fun-filled day out, look no further than Adventure Park. Located just a 20-minute drive from Geelong's CBD, Adventure Park is a water park with loads of rides and activities suitable for all ages.
The Easter Egg Hunt is included in the admission price, and there will be 15,000 eggs to be found. The hunt is open to all ages, with a separate search area for children under four.
2. Queenscliff Bowling, Tennis and Croquet Club - 2018 Easter Eggstravaganza On Friday the 30th of March, the Queenscliff Bowling, Tennis and Croquet Club will be hosting their annual Easter event to raise money for the Good Friday Appeal. This popular community event includes a variety of activities, food, raffles, market stalls, as well as Easter Egg hunts for children of all ages (and adults too).
The event starts at 11am, with the first Egg Hunt kicking off at 11:30am.
On Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, The Bellarine Railway will be offering Easter-themed train rides and activities. There'll be an Easter Hat Parade, an Easter Egg Hunt, and the Easter bunny will make an appearance.
Trains depart from Queenscliff at 1:30pm, and it's recommended that you book online to avoid missing out.
If you're looking for something a bit different this year, then the Geelong Gaol Easter Egg Hunt is guaranteed to fit the bill. This 45-minute Egg Hunt is for people aged 18 and over and takes place at the Old Geelong Gaol in Myers Street.
You'll need to book online as places are limited, and tickets are priced at $15 per person.
