Enjoy Easter with the family
It is that time of the year again and sometimes we tend to forget that Easter is more than chocolates and visits from the Easter Bunny.
This is one of Hobart's most anticipated family events of the year, which will be held in the beautiful Tasmanian Botanical Gardens and it is all about helping others.
The Research Foundation is an independent entity that helps to raise funds for local health and medical research in Tasmania.
Since the establishment in 1997, they have raised almost $6 million dollars in funding for research!
Gather family and friends and enjoy the Easter fun at this event all while helping out a good cause, with all proceeds donated to further local medical research in Tasmania.
The Easter Egg Hunt & Family Picnic event will showcase plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. With some activities ranging from entertainment for the kids, colouring corner, pin the tail on the bunny, Hopscotch, egg and spoon races, storytelling, meet Easter Bunny, Freddo and Caramello and of course the main feature of the event the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt!
The Easter Egg Hunt is for children between the ages of 3-13; however, there will be other Easter Egg Hunts for all age groups too. For all Easter Egg Hunt times see website.
This is one Easter event not to miss out on!
There will be a free 'hop-on-hop-off' shuttle bus that will operate from the Regatta Grounds between 9:30am-2:30pm. The Regatta Grounds has a free parking car park.
