Get ready for a jam-packed and event-filled Easter at The Grounds.

Right through April, there will be loads of [i]"egg-citing"[/i] offerings which will lead up to a favourite weekend of the year – Easter!



[b]PROGRAM OF EVENTS**
[b]COMMUNITY GIANT EASTER EGG CRACKING[/b]
This will happen on Easter Sunday, 21st April at 3.00 pm. The cracking of their famous chocolate egg is a big Easter tradition and is shared with the whole community. The event is free for the community and is on a first in best-dressed basis.



Following the cracking, The Garden will be open until 5.00 pm and The Potting Shed will stay open late until 9.00 pm for dinner.

[b]EASTER SATURDAY & SUNDAY BRUNCH[/b]
This will be on at the Potting Shed in Alexandra on Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 am.

The Potting Shed Brunch will be set among the lovely hanging greenery. It will feature a two-course breakfast menu with a meal of your choice as well as fresh juice and coffee. The cost is $15 to $49 and you can see the menu and book at this link.



[b]EASTER SUNDAY FAMILY HIGH TEA[/b]
This will be on at the Atrium in Alexandria on Easter Sunday at 11.00 am, 1.00 pm and 3.30 pm.

Here you will have high tea in style! There will be delicate teacups, tiered stands of delicious sweets and savoury treats and world-class service in the beautiful atrium. The cost is $15 to $60 and you can see the menu and book at this link.



[b]EASTER WEEKEND BRUNCH IN THE CITY[/b]
This will be held on the grounds of the city on Easter Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 am. You can celebrate the Easter long weekend in the city and settle in on Saturday or Sunday with a 2-course breakfast menu. There will be fresh fruit and bakery goods on arrival with your choice of main, and coffee. You can see the menu and make your bookings at this link.

[b]RAINBOW LANEWAY INSTALLATION[/b]
This will be on in the Laneway until Sunday 28th April.
Red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange and blue, the Grounds will have a rainbow for Easter. Follow Harry Trotter's Easter tale to discover the 500kg chocolate egg at the end. This will be open every day from 7.00 am till 9.00 am.



[b]OVER THE RAINBOW CAKE[/b]
This will be on at The Cafe until Monday 22nd April and it is an Over The Rainbow Cake.

It is available in two sizes and your choice of pastel colour. This limited edition cake is made up of pastel rainbow sponge layers with mango and apricot compote and cream cheese. It is then finished with an edible easter garden and garnished with rainbow baby's breath. This will cost just $24 and you can order yours at this link.



[b]THE BUNNY'S GARDEN[/b]
This will be in the Garden until Monday 22nd April. Come on down to The Garden Bar and try a very special Bunny's Garden shake! It is a house-made mint and vanilla ice cream milkshake, topped with whipped cream, chocolate eggs and sprinkles. It is guaranteed to make your Easter that little bit sweeter!



[b]SALTED CARAMEL EGGSPRESSO MARTINI[/b]
You can have this in The Potting Shed until Monday 22nd April and it is an Easter cocktail. This is for the big kids - the kind of chocolate eggs you wished the Easter Bunny would deliver. It consists of a creamy combination of salted caramel and espresso, set in a chocolate coated glass and garnished with crumbled Easter egg - yummo!

[b]GENERAL**
This year there will be a new and improved annual Easter egg hunt for the children. There will be a limited release of tickets with all proceeds going to the Sydney Children's Hospital. To register for these tickets please go to this link.
