Hey all weekenders, any plans for the weekend?

Well, if haven't got it figured out yet, then East Hills Park along with Georges River could be a great suggestion for those who are interested in discovering our natural environment.
East Hills Park along with Georges River

It is located in East Hills Suburb, a part of the South-Western Sydney region, which is about 26 km from Sydney CBD

We can do several activities in there as follows:

1. Picnicking
Due to the breathtaking view over the green landscape along with the river, East Hills Park could be said to be a great picnic spot.

Not only the beautiful sight, but also there are free facilities to make us feel at ease and comfortable staying there such as electric barbecues, picnic tables, drinking water, flush toilets, car park.

If having kids along and don't want to bore them while us preparing meal, then of course there is a kids playground full of various safety equipment to entertain them.

For all you dog lovers, who want to bring dogs along, I would recommend this is a good place to walk or run them as this is a long park along the Georges River.

2. Fishing and Boating
As having Georges River along, another suggested activity to do in there would be fishing.

I would say this was a great experience for us as we were so excited when we picked up various kinds of fish such as bream, flathead, yellowtail, whiting. The funny part was that we even didn't know what type of them being called at the time.

Well, we didn't have boat at the time, so I would suggest if anyone having a boat then take it along as fishing while boating would be even better to enhance the experience to another level.

3. Bush walking
The next exciting activity for those who are interested in discovering wildlife and natural environment, would be bush walking.

Well, there is a 15.8 km bushwalking from East Hills to Padstow along the Georges River. This would take approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes. Click here for more information.

This walk will lead all you bushwalkers to explore along the edge of the Georges River, which includes another recreational activity, the popular bird watching at Yeramba Lagoon.

4. Camping
Anyone wants to extend your enjoyable time?
Anyone interested in spending a night away from your room?

Well, then bringing tents along and camping together with your family or friends would sound even more memorable.

So are you ready to experience this?
If so, then East Hills Park would be a great place to do so, as having flush toilet and electric barbecue and others facilities mentioned above, which would relieve all your worries.
