Nothing is as much fun as messing about in boats
East Fremantle Yacht Club (EFYC) is having a birthday party and everyone is invited. The club is celebrating turning 85 with a mega Family Open Day on Sunday 14 October. Visitors will be able to try sailing, paddle boarding, share birthday cake and much more. If you're curious about sailing or just want a fun day out, don't miss this all-ages family friendly event.
With a huge line up of activities and entertainment, the Open Day really will have something for everyone. Radio station 6IX will be broadcasting live from 8 till noon and there will be hourly giveaways. Take a tour of the Duyfken, then learn about Sea Scouts or Dragon boating. Feeling brave? Try sailing or stand up paddleboarding. Those planning a big day can check out the wedding and venue hire information and everyone can relax with live music in the afternoon. Those unfamiliar with EFYC may think it's just about sailing but the club has a great range of other amenities for members. The newly refurbished bar and restaurant feature lunch specials and happy hour. Three function rooms are available at reduced rates and the club also holds regular social events. The Open Day is the perfect time to discover all the club has to offer. There are a variety of membership options plus membership specials on the day.
