Event:
Put the lights out for an hour before it's lights out for the Reef!

Help make a stand for the Great Barrier Reef by hosting a gathering together with friends, family, neighbours or your community or sporting group. Hosts are eligible to enter a competition to win a ticket to Camp Earth Hour on the Great Barrier Reef.

Since its formation in 2007, Earth Hour has spread to 7001 cities and 152 nations across the world. On Saturday the 29th March, supporters can tune in to a TV special to watch the world premier of the Earth Hour documentary Lights Out for the Reef at 4.30pm on Network Ten, watch The Axis of Awesome YouTube video, and turn the lights out for an hour at 8.30pm to support a beautiful part of our seascape from the effects of climate change.
