As I sit here overlooking the mountains and hearing the sound of the wind and the farm animals, I feel the presence and peace of God all around me. This place is a wonderful blessing to the Body of Christ that has been provided for you to enjoy in the midst of this busy world, where noise and technology are consistently at our fingertips. You will experience the facilities of a fully self-contained 3 bedroom house at the cost of absolutely nothing - all you have to do is bring your own food.
Enjoy the blessing of this free retreat in the countryside.

Basil and Jan are the hosts of Eagle Mount and they live next door if you need assistance, otherwise they will leave you to enjoy your time on the property and allow you to have total peace and privacy as you take time out to relax and restore.
Bookings are essential via email: email@example.com or you can phone Basil or Jan on (07) 5484 9252 to confirm the dates you would like to stay. Throughout my stay at Mizpah house, I was able to enjoy the fresh taste of lemon, lemonades and limes from the fruit trees in the backyard. Jan was also kind enough to supply me with a dozen freshly laid eggs, as the saying goes fresh is best. I also had the opportunity to enjoy a hike up the mountain to spend time in Basil and Jan's shack in the bush.
I really love it up here - this is definitely a place I would like to return to when I need time out to reflect and re-focus on God. Mobile phone access is restricted and I could not access the internet or normal television, so it was back to nature for me and I loved it. If you do need to contact anyone during your stay at Mizpah house, there is a land line phone connection to call home if necessary. I forgot how simple life really can be when you allow yourself to be taken away from the busyness of life and enjoy the nature and peace God has given us.
