A shot of coffee, creativity, and calm
E for Ethel is a hidden gem on Adelaide's Melbourne Street, an area that seems to get more exciting for weekend browsing and nibbling with every month that goes by! And by hidden, I really do mean hidden: you'll find this delightful shop/cafe/crafty hub/hipster hangout tucked in behind the vine-laden car park in the Melbourne Street Garden Complex. You'll know you've hit it when you see glorious yarn bombing galore!
E for Ethel is all about locally handmade gifts, home wares and stationary. Head in for pretty one-off greeting cards, colourful prints for your walls, statement jewellery, up-cycled vintage objects, and hand-knitted kids' toys.
Plus, don't forget to stop for some lunch or a coffee while you're there. Sit down under the shady green vines, peruse the delicious menu (the banana and muesli soy smoothie is super yummy), and chat the afternoon away with the friendly staff.
Everything at E for Ethel is fresh and just a little bit creative. This might just be my new favourite spot!
