The Dynamight Kids training program has been a great success in Brisbane and is now extending to Perth.

Dynamight Kids is a special training program designed for children ages 3 and up. Founded by Childhood Australia director, Leann Webb, and renowned Israeli martial arts expert, Haim Sasson, the Dynamight Kids training program is a fun and interactive way of teaching children how to protect themselves in a range of situations.

From dealing with school yard bullying, to how to identify and avoid dangerous and uncomfortable situations, children will be equipped with practical tools and skills, that will not only protect them, but will also result in greater confidence and a better understanding of how to stay safe, everyday.

The ongoing training covers 40 basic self-defence techniques and safety awareness, including road safety, water safety, fire safety and electrical safety and various life skills through fun interactive activities and games.

The lessons are priced at only $11 a week and run for half an hour. After each lesson, children receive a take home sheet summarising what was learnt and there are End of Term Progress Reports and End of Year Diplomas and Medals.

Dynamight Kids was recently the subject of a Channel 10 News Perth report and Channel 7 Sunrise report. You can view the footage below.

If you are interested in enrolling your child in a Dynamight Kids program, lessons are available at your child care centre and the Fremantle PCYC on Saturdays.
