Bob Dylan, the American songwriter, singer, artist, and writer who has been influential in popular music and culture for more than five decades, will be represented by DYLANesque this coming February at Frankston Arts Centre.
DYLANesque is Australia's only tribute band dedicated to Bob Dylan's musical talent. Led by Jeff Jenkins and his electrifying 4-piece band, DYLANesque, pays tribute to the legendary musician, performing more than 30 of Dylan's best-known songs.
Jeff Jenkins opens the show with a tale from 1961, when a young 19 yr old hitch-hiked his way from Duluth Minnesota to New York City with a guitar and $10 in his pocket – and went on to become one of the world's most successful songwriters of all time.
DYLANesque is 'The Bob Dylan Story', a 2-hour narrated rock show covering the life, loves and musical history of America's hugely influential singer and songwriter.
Jeff Jenkins is all set to take you on a musical journey through the life and times of Bob Dylan. This is a spellbinding performance, which cleverly intersperses stories of key moments from Bob Dylan's life with the music he is best known for.
Hear Blowin in the Wind, Lay Lady Lay, Tangled up in Blue, Rolling Stone, Hurricane, All Along the Watchtower and many more, performed live at Cube 37 at Frankston Arts Centre.
Bob Dylan fans simply must not miss DYLANesque, performing on 4 and 5 February 2017 from 7:30pm. Tickets start from $30, booked via Frankston Arts Centre's website HERE.
