Bill, the owner of , Rocky, travels far and wide around the Widebay and Capricorn area with his food van. It's easy to spot Bill's food van with its bright yellow-orangey colour tulips and yellow klompen (a whole-foot clog from the Netherlands) on the side of his van.



Poffertjes are a traditional Dutch batter treat that resembles small, fluffy pancakes. Typically, poffertjes are a sweet treat, served with icing sugar and butter, sometimes syrup or advocaat (a traditional Dutch alcoholic beverage made from eggs, sugar, and brandy). However, there is also a savoury variant with gouda cheese.





His freshly-made poffertjes are served with melted butter and icing sugar or syrup of your choice, always something that we look for at local markets, fetes and fairs. If you feel extravagant, you can add extra jam and cream or ice cream or Nutella on the side. There's the option of 10 poffertjes for $9 or 20 poffertjes for $18.
