Delicious dumplings and Asian cuisine
Pan fried vegetarian dumplings… can you beat them? At Dumpling Chef they were made for me while I waited so they were deliciously fresh and steaming hot. All I needed to do was to add my sauce. I chose Soya and the hot chili oil.
These handmade pan-fried dumplings were an unbelievable $1.35 each. Of course they are cheaper by the dozen (eight for about $10 depending on the fillings). There are lots of varieties of dumplings, as you would expect.
My friend chose the wanton noodle soup ($11) and I would have indulged but the fillings included pork and shrimp.
When I went to the Plenty Valley Westfield's Dumpling Chef I enjoyed the curry puff ($2.50). My son loved the miniature dims sims on a skewer ($2.20) and the calamari sold in a small take away tub for $7. I thought the food was very inexpensive. The steamed buns were only $2.50.
The Greensborough store is relatively new so all the furnishing are modern and clean. They are adorned with red lanterns. You'll find them just near the Hoyts cinemas which is very handy. They are open everyday from 11am until late.
The photographic menu was extensive. I noticed a lot of other people ordering large meals including rice and meat dishes for those who want something a bit more substantial. Some of the dishes looked big enough for a family serve.
There were plenty of staff and the food was delivered very quickly. The tables were cleared quickly after diners left. So if you are looking for a fast, tasty, inexpensive snack or meal, look out for Dumpling Chef's delicious fresh handmade dumplings or other treats.
Dumpling Chefs can be found in some shopping centres. Try one of these:
