She'll be joined by guitarist brothers Slava and Leonard Grigoryan , who played on Hush volume 10 , for a musical conversation that will uplift and inspire.

Included in your ticket will be some nibbles, a bag full of goodies and beer, wine and soft drink. There'll be conversation time with likeminded people; 40 minutes of conversation and 20 minutes of questions from the audience.

A physician at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Dr Catherine Crock has been reimagining a kinder health system for patients. She teamed up with professional musicians who volunteered their time to create a collection of unique CDs to help children and their parents during medical procedures.

The result is the HUSH collection, a special compilation of soothing music. Designed to calm and relax people of all ages, it's used within 12 Children's Hospitals and wards around Australia, in operating theatres, treatment rooms and waiting areas, as well as to manage unsettled babies.

By her own admission on Engaging Women , she was intrinsically shy and would not even raise her hands in classes or lectures to answer a question. However, the faces of children in intense pain and fear in the hospital system and being a mother herself changed all that. It brought out the protective maternal instincts that propelled her to find her voice.

Brought to you by Dumbo Feather , this magazine specialises in conversations with extraordinary people and change-makers who inspire, excite and thrill us with possibilities. It was created to educate and heal and tell stories of people living with passion and purpose. Named after Disney's Dumbo who believed a magic feather gave him the power to fly; the magazine aspires to be the magic feather for readers to have the courage to do what they are truly capable of. Keep checking the website for other upcoming conversation events with inspiring people.
