Quack, quack, quack all day
great duck race

On Sunday the 10th of November 2019, the annual South Australian Great Duck Race will be held at the Soldiers Memorial Park in the beautiful township of Strathalbyn. The event will begin at 11am and continue on until 2pm. There will be a variety of stalls, food and fun for the whole family to enjoy. And, you have the opportunity to see "Moby Duck" and "Cluck a Duck" as well on the day.

As for the race itself, 2500 numbered ducks will be helped down the river by a wind machine. Prizes are $1000 for first, $300 for second, and $200 for third. Winners are those who have tickets that match one of the winning ducks' number.

A Corporate Duck race and a Best Dressed Duck competition will also be running during the day. For these, you'll want to be either as fast or as pretty and fancy as possible. More information is available on their website.
