Sway, swing and sing your way through this jazz festival
Celebrating its 25th year of Jazz in Dubbo, this festival is filled with Jazz, Blues and Roots, Swing, Gypsy Funk and Soul. And with a grand 'jazzatic' programme, you certainly do not want to miss out on this festival!
This year, the Dubbo Jazz Festival will continue in the footsteps of its proud history. It will include Trad Jazz, swing dance, gypsy, and some blues and roots, swing, funk and soul, making this festival one of its biggest yet.
The program will be utilising 'pop up' performances as well as small groups/acts to perform in cafes around Dubbo. The performances will be held at winery venues and the Dubbo Park Rotunda, other venues include Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Western Plains Cultural Centre, Outlook Cafe and more.
See website for full list of venues.
Be sure to experience the masterclasses and workshops in conjunction with local schools and the Macquarie Conservatorium of Music assisted by the festival artists.
For a little interesting fact, in 2013 the Dubbo Jazz Festival was the largest festival to date with over two hundred musicians involved in nearly fifty concerts, making this Festival a very much loved event.
Be sure to add this Festival to your calendar for non-stop Jazz music entertainment this August.
