Go behind the fashion “seams” of the hit movie
A few years ago, when the Dressmaker came out in cinemas, I went to see it and loved not only the movie itself but also the costumes in the movies itself. So I was very excited when I heard that the National Film and Sound Archive is going to have a Dressmaker Costume Exhibition.

The exhibition will be on daily 10am–4pm from Thursday 18 April until Sunday 18 August 2019. The exhibition has been created by award-winning designer Marion Boyce, who also created the costumes herself. It will include a selection of haute couture costumes worn by Kate Winslet, Liam Hemsworth, Sarah Snook, Hugo Weaving and the rest of the cast during the movie.

Audiences will be able to go behind the scenes and see these gorgeous gowns and costumes from the big screen for themselves. Making this one event you don't want to miss out on!
