Event:
An evening of 1950s fun and fashion
In conjunction with their Dressmaker Costume exhibition, the National Film and Sound Archive is hosting a vintage ball to celebrate their new exhibition, which features haute couture costumes worn by the cast in the 1950's themed movie.

Just like the movie the ball will have a 1950s theme, with a swing dance demonstration and the opportunity to put up a few steps. There will also be the opportunity to see the Dressmaker Costume exhibition during the ball.

With such beautiful costumes on display, attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their finest vintage wear, or if desired to bring a prized piece for appraisal by an NFSA curator.

With bubbles on arrivals, and the evening set against a backdrop of swinging retro vinyl DJ, it is sure to be a evening full of 1950s fun and fashion.

*Please note this is an 18year plus event
