If you didn't get a chance to wander through the 100% Australian handmade Dreamer's Markets this September, or you just couldn't get enough of it, then you're in luck. The Dreamer's Markets are welcoming you back with open arms, sooner than expected on Saturday the 15th of December with it's Christmas Dreamer's Markets. After such an overwhelmingly positive response to their maiden markets, it's happening all over again just in time for you to do all your Christmas shopping. What gift is better to give to your loved ones, than something truly unique and made with purpose.

If you're not familiar with the Dreamer's Markets modus operandi, it is an unparalleled market where the stall-holders must be true artisans which design from their imagination, create with their own hands and sell their wares at the stall with their own mouth telling their story. All products must be 100% Australian handmade, and stand up to the Dreamer's teams stringent requirements, no exceptions. No outsourcing to foreign countries or simply sewing on a button you bought at one store onto a top you bought at another. The creations are required to go far deeper than that. These artisans are not commonly found, as the team at Dreamer's strive to bring only unique stalls and items to their markets, so you're not bombarded with all the regular generic rubbish. So you know any gorgeous designs you fall in love with, were made with heart and utter intention.

A number of stalls will fill out the courtyard in the Riverside Theatres at Parramatta. The Busy Badger , DM Pottery , Gallerie Marie , Forget Me Not Paperware , Sweetness The Pattisserie , Poppy and Peridot , My Name is Kiki and so many more. Your gifting needs will most certainly be met with pottery, jewellery, clothing for big and small, art, crafts, candles, bags, food and undoubtedly other rare pieces I can't get my mind around, available at your fingertips.

More specifically, showcasing her designs on the day will be Wendy Hearn, a local metal-smith and glass artist who makes contemporary, wearable art jewellery. Running her business Wendy Lee , she uses recycled metals where she can, to create bold, vibrant and funky pieces as well as natural, delicate creations. She combines traditional metal-smithing techniques as well as new technologies.

I AM Boutique , handmade women's clothing, designed with the quality of pure femininity in mind, which designer Beth Comino feels has been "lost in today's society". She endeavours to empower women by "giving them a constant reminder of their significance".

Kikay Designs by Monique Naranjilla, has a variety of fabulously quirky but still endlessly stylish bags on show. The products range from the essential tote to the maybe not so essential, but definitely must-have clutch. Unique and sometimes unusual patterns adorn these items, making them eye-catching and irresistible.

Knowing something has been made with care and love, not to mention hasn't come from disenfranchised communities or caused cruelty to people or animals is very comforting and uplifting, especially around the most wonderful time of the year.

If this sounds like a notion that you can appreciate and embrace, then I urge you to come along to snap up all your Christmas gifts this year at the caring and creative Christmas Dreamer's Markets.
