The little market that could is back with it's third installment, the
. After a hugely successful inaugural market last September, followed by the Dreamers Christmas Market to satisfy all those gifting needs as the first market just simply wasn't enough, the Dreamers are back with their Autumn market doing what they do best. For those that haven't been lucky enough to venture to the market and discover all that the Dreamers Market stands for and highlights for us to enjoy, I'll give you a little run down.
These markets aren't like your average markets with the same products and designs time after time that flood the market (no pun intended). At regular markets you will often come across stalls with a complete lack of originality and items produced from who knows what material from who knows where. The Dreamers Market brings you 100% Australian handmade delights. The Dreamers have specific requirements that must be met before your products will be accepted and showcased at their markets. These markets thrive on artisan works produced in Australia, using original and recycled Australian materials. The designs must be unique, thoughtful and made with love and care. Another important aspect is the fact that they strive to provide us with new and exciting stalls each time around. The individuals attracted to these markets are indeed artisans, people who put their heart and soul into their works and truly appreciate the time and effort put into the works of others. To find a market that understands their motives and features them alongside only others who also take as much pride and pleasure in their works is a rare find.
If this sounds like an ideal you would embrace and would love to get on board with, then I would whole-heartedly recommend you come down and experience these hardworking artisans treats and treasures.
Some of the items you will find include, wall art, paper craft, jewellery, clothing, candles, sweets and more. At
Mia Grace Couture you'll find gorgeous handmade shoes for little ladies. Your bub, toddler or teeny dancer in the making can find some beautiful handcrafted wares for their little tootsies, along with some fancy dresses to finish the ensemble. If it's something more grown-up you're after then maybe some art, prints or cards from
Inkflower will suit. For decorating yourself rather than your walls, you can head to
Christina Egger Designs where you'll find statement jewellery that will make an impact.
[BREAK]
There will be plenty more on offer on the day. So the best way to see the variety of creations that have been brought to life from these artisans imaginations through their hard working hands, is to come down to Parramatta's Riverside Theatre on Saturday the 16th of March from 9:30am to 2:30pm. If you are unfortunate enough not to be able to attend this awesome Autumn market mania, then I have some good news. The Dreamers Market will also be back on the 5th of May for a special Mother's Day market providing us all with the opportunity to find a wonderful gift for our beloved mums that is as original, unique and exceptional as they are.
