The best way to beat Bangkok's tropical climate is to head to Dream World in the busy capital of Thailand. Get rid of that sticky, sweaty feeling that the humidity has left on your skin while sliding down a spiralling water tube, or screaming your heart out on one of the fastest roller-coasters!

Dream World gives kids the chance to ride up Space Mountain on a rollercoaster, make snow angels in Snow Land, and even meet Pocahontas and Cinderella. The park's entrance is signified by the princess castle and the colourful lawns featuring water fountains and flowers. Throughout the park, you'll be able to hear a low hum of upbeat music as well as many dotted maps.

Thrill seekers appetite is well fed after a round on the Sky Coaster or the Viking. The Sky Coaster is the park's fastest rollercoaster while the Viking is a large boat that swings! The Hurricane is also a favourite amongst thrill seekers and it spins and swings about 20 meters above ground.

Smaller children who don't reach the height requirement for the above rides will find attractions like the sightseeing train, racing cars, bump boat, antique car ride and the Indian boat as much fun! These rides are completely safe for kids of all ages. Snow Town is also enjoyed by kids who can hop on a sleigh ride, throw snowballs, build a snowman or embark on a 4D Adventure!

Another popular section of the park features the water attractions such as Super Splash, an exciting boat ride that ends with a big splash and the Grand Canyon, a thrilling white water rafting ride. The Go Kart section is another favourite amongst visitors. Admire the strange worlds of the Giant House, get scared while strolling through the Haunted Mansion with familiar personalities like Dracula, Werewolf and Frankenstein or trot up the red carpet at the Hollywood Action Show.

The park has numerous food and drinks vendors to keep you energised and hydrated throughout the day, selling everything from ice cream and candyfloss to KFC and delectable Thai dishes.

Dream World is located Rangsit-Ongkarak road, Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani. If you're staying at a hotel in Sukhumvit , Bangkok, many of them provide packages which include transfers, entrance tickets and sometimes even food, so don't forget to check! In popular areas like Sukhumvit, properties such as Emporium Suites by Chatrium tend to book up fast during the peak season.

Don't miss the parade that features an endless lineup of clowns, famous characters, and cute mascots as they dance and walk through the streets of Dream World. The park is open from 10 am to 5 pm daily, however, if it's a holiday, the park stays open until 7 pm. The park tends to get crowded with locals during the weekends and holidays, and it is recommended to visit during a weekday to avoid standing in queues!
