Dream of the Ghost Story is a production by the Shandong Acrobatic Troupe that will be playing at The Adelaide Festival Theatre on September 5th and 6th. Presented by The Adelaide Festival Centre and Shandong Provincial Department of Culture, it is an event of the OzAsia Festival.
The award-winning Shandong Acrobatic Troupe was founded in June 1959. They have performed in many countries including Japan, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Sweden, Germany and more. In 1998, the Shandong Acrobatic Troupe performed in the opening ceremonies for the Walt Disney film Mulan.
This production portrays the love story of a human man and a fox spirit through interpretive dance. It's a magical tale of the battle between good vs evil and is based on the classic story of Qing Dynasty Fable.
This production features 50 performers doing breathtaking acrobatics. It brings ghosts, foxes, immortals and demons to life is a family-friendly stage production.
