Get your tickets here for the online drawing workshop for kids aged 6 to 12. Drawing on Nature: Wattle We Draw? hosted by Melbourne Museum will commence on Tuesday 28 September 2021 from 10am for 45 minutes. Spaces are limited so please register in advance to avoid disappointment. You'll need a few pieces of paper, a grey lead pencil, an eraser, and yellow, green, brown and other coloured pencils.
This fun and interactive online program will teach observation techniques, learn how to focus on the small details of texture, colour, shape and pattern, and connect with the world around us. Kids will learn about the diversity of our beautiful local plant life at this drawing workshop by following a step-by-step activity to draw a native plant. It's inspired by the Forest Gallery and Milarri Garden at the Museum.
There are other events you might like to check out on the What's On page of the Museum's website. With events for adults and kids alike - here are a few kids activities you might not want to miss out on in 2021, but please do check the full online school holiday program for yourselves. Get in early and book the ones you're interested in and get ready to gather the list of equipment provided that you'll need.
