Come on Sunday 9 July 2017, between 9am and 3pm, as the Tactile Arts Dragonfly Craft Fair will be taking over the Daly St end of Bicentennial Park. Over 80 stallholders will be showcasing the absolute best arts and crafts by our own local artists and crafts people. Plus within the shaded parklands, music will be playing, dragonflies will be buzzing and delicious food and drinks will be available for picnicking.
Tactile Arts Craft Fairs
Tactile Arts Craft Fairs play a major part in Darwin's calendar of events. Tactile Arts Dragonfly Craft Fair will bring a new mix of stallholders with an incredible array of quality handcrafted items including textiles, ceramics, jewellery, glass, clothing, homewares, children's and baby items, handmade toys, paintings, prints, garden sculpture, macramé, handmade soaps, candles and beauty products. There will be something for everyone, so make sure you come along and support your local artists and crafters!
Green shaded area
This July, for the first time, La French, The Brat & Kransky Haus and Sailors Brew Coffee will join the fair and will serve up delicious food and drinks throughout the day. Be prepared to stroll the beautiful stalls and refuel, listening to Soul & Funk DJ, Bryan O'Flaherty and Darwin's very own Jordan Ravi.
New playground on the Esplanade
Tactile Arts Craft Fairs will be setting up right next to the Esplanades new all-ages playground, so if you haven't given it a whirl yet then bring the kids, or just your inner child! Buying a product directly from the artist who made it is a very special experience and often the characteristic of each handcrafted item is as unique as the individual who makes it. Experience it for yourself with arts and crafts by the water and take in the wonderful weather that we're currently enjoying here in Darwin's dry!
