Children are encouraged to dress up and join in the fun with the hour long session to engage children in creative thinking and arts and crafts with the theme 'Under the Sea'.

Creative writing is a way not only for children to express themselves but helps young writers build confidence, take pride in their work, improve literacy, increase general braininess as a tool to foster critical thinking and problem solving and have a lot of fun.

In our Jellyfish Writing session we will:
Discuss the four basic elements of storytelling
Develop an individual picture book text
Work together as a group to create a story that brings in all aspects of the session, using visual, oral and other imaginative sensory stimulus

Children will be encouraged to expand their stories after the workshop and be given the knowledge they need to structure their own manuscripts based on elementary creative writing and sensory storytelling techniques.
