Caramelized Panettone

Next to the Victoria Park Train Station in Abbotsford is a bar & bistro, which is well-known by lovers of nightlife. Dr Morse at 274 Johnston Street, Abbotsford, is one of the district's favourite evening haunts, with great food and music every night of the week except Mondays.

On weekdays, the venue opens at 7am for coffee and a light breakfast menu, however, the weekend is when a transformation takes place in the kitchen. From 8am, the Chef cooks up a storm, with all of your brunch favourites, from toasted sandwiches to omelettes, the menu has options for everyone.

Gluten Free Avocado and Fetta on Toast]

The food options change regularly, but when we were there, we enjoyed Avocado and Fetta on Gluten Free Toast, Caramellized Panettone with Yoghurt Cream and Poached Eggs with Ricotta and Mushrooms. Gluten-free options were available and the coffee was hot and juices freshly squeezed. Fancy a Mimosa with your breakfast? There is also a boozy menu for those arriving a little later in the day. Visit their website to see the current offerings. [LINK https://drmorse.com.au/]

Food prices range from $16 to $26, while coffees are only $5. Dr Morse is open for brunch until 2pm, and bookings are advised, although they do their best to accommodate walk-ins. You can make a booking by visiting their Website [LINK https://drmorse.com.au/events-receptions/] and find out more about special events and happy hours by following them on Instagram.
