Dr Felicity Rickshaw's Celebrity Sex Party

This is, quite simply, the most outstanding show that I have seen at this year's Perth Fringe Festival to date. The standard of performance, the story-line, and the songs grab you from the moment the production begins, and they don't let go until the all-to-soon conclusion.

Tyler Jacob Jones' writing skills are to the fore. The dialogue and the lyrics are almost perfect, and I hope he feels justifiably proud of what he has created. He is ably supported by Amy Russotti, with Erin Hutchinson, Claire Taylor, and Robert Woods.

Amy Russotti plays Dr Felicity Rickshaw - however, there is a twist in the tale that I'll let you find out when you attend the show which I won't give away here. Amy achieves greatness with her performance, She manages to portray a character with two VERY different personalities - and bring them together to achieve a very happily-ever-after outcome.

That is not to take anything away from the rest of the cast, all of whom contribute perfectly to the audience's enjoyment (which is substantial). All the cast members absolutely nail the timing and cues, which results in a very tight and professional experience for the entire audience. To give you an idea of the impact and power of this performance: as a story about a double-life, the disparity between the reality and the imagination if very well managed and seamlessly woven into the overall narrative. The language used is very 'saucy', but you must expect that from a performance with this name.

An impressive list of A-list celebrities are subjected to unique narratives that highlight the explicit and detailed imagination of Dr Felicity Rickshaw. In the end, they all give away to true love that is (mostly) very sweet and innocent.

I cannot recommend this show highly enough. It's the closest thing to a 'guaranteed' enjoyable night out that I've come across this year.
