The Doveton Show is a community event organised and run solely by volunteers and held annually at Myuna Farm , 182 Kidds Road, Doveton, for the last 19 years. Its aim is to showcase and support the local community of Doveton and other community groups located in the City of Casey. This year, the show will be run on 17 September from 10am to 4pm. There'll be rides galore, market and food stalls, show bags, stage and farm entertainment, kid's activities, and community stalls and information. Stay in touch via the given links/social media as more information comes to hand.

The date of the Doveton Show generally coincides with the Royal Melbourne Show as an affordable alternative for which you don't have to travel to the city, to enjoy a family day out. The event is also a great platform for local businesses, community groups, performing arts, sporting clubs, and arts and crafts sectors to hold beneficial fundraising activities to support their operations. The day's program is also filled with an exciting lineup of free entertainment and live shows. As aforementioned, do stay tuned for the program which will be released closer to show day.

There's going to be a vast range of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. There'll be much to do and see, with activities suitable for everyone. Once again, stay tuned for the ride list, roving entertainment and mascots, face painting, train rides to tour the farm, and more. The showbags will be located at the Pavilion, and kids will find all kinds of treats and toys within a selection of showbags for all ages and tastes on offer this year. That's not the end of it, with petting zoos and animal shows, and a range of kids carnival games with prizes. There's something for everyone, with an exciting range of food and drink trucks on the premises for the foodies. Be sure to browse the market for that something unique and/or special, community and small business stalls.

If you're driving to the show, there's parking available at Betula Park Reserve off Kidds Road. Accessible parking is available, but very limited, so get there early to its location at the top of the driveway in Myuna Farm, in the first paddock. The farm is also accessible via public transport.
