DoubleTree by Hilton New York City - Chelsea offers excellent accommodation for a New York City - Manhattan holiday. The hotel is in a great location and in a beautiful Chelsea district. Chelsea is my favourite part of New York, so the location of the hotel is absolutely ideal for me. Only a few minutes walk to Penn Station - so you can reach other parts of New York without problems.



Near the hotel, there are several restaurants and supermarkets. The Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden are within an easy walking distance. Even Times Square can be reached within 15 minutes on foot. Also, getting to Newark airport is quick and easy. A nearest underground station is about 7 minutes away and easy to reach.



Cafes, delis, drugstores and much more can be found within a block around the hotel. It is in the middle of Manhattan, making it possible to reach many attractions on foot.

Our room was on the 21st floor and had one huge and extremely comfortable king size bed. Room facilities were extremely modern and the bathroom looked great. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day. Our room overlooked the Empire State Building. The rooms are modern, clean and equipped with everything you need. There is a coffee maker (unfortunately no tea) in the room. A flat-screen TV with US-based TV channels is also available.



Upon request, an American breakfast, buffet breakfast or in-room breakfast welcomes all travellers. Around the hotel, there are several restaurants, such as Restaurant 230 Fifth, Maui Tacos and the Brooklyn Bagel. Travellers looking for evening entertainment can visit the 40/40 Club. We booked a breakfast. Although there were typical US foods such as pancakes, bacon and various cakes and muffins, there was also fresh pineapple, melon and delicious natural yoghurt as well as other fruits and cereals to choose from.



Staff at the front desk, in the breakfast room and concierge service in the hotel were always friendly and courteous.
