We had only one night stay at DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Metropolitan New York City . Directly in front of the hotel is an entrance to the subway. Many interesting attracions such as 5th Avenue are located directly in the immediate vicinity. Central Park is also a short walk.



In the room, everything is available. Safe, iron and ironing board. the bathroom and toilet are clean with everything you need. Room facilities overall are modern. Our bed was a good size. However, there is only paid and also very expensive Wi-Fi in the room.



Recommended are rooms on higher floors. It is very noisy on the lower levels, especially out to the rear, as directly under the windows are generators that run all night and are very noisy. The next day we exchanged our rooms without any problems and even got a larger room at no extra charge. All rooms are well equipped and the room cleaning was perfect. Suitable for a short trip to New York.



The hotel offers a breakfast, which is quite expensive. After a short walk, there are several restaurants where you can get to know the local cuisine of New York - Manhattan - Alfredo of Rome, Ess-A-Bagel and Pret A Manger Restaurant are about a 10-minute walk from the house.

Spa facilities include a gym and steam room. Beauty treatments enable the guests to feel-good in the beauty area. If you are passionate about sports, the on-site equipment includes billiards, mini golf and volleyball. In addition, families can take advantage of childcare at the hotel. The area surrounding the property is ideal for horse riding.



The service inside the hotel is great. All staff are very friendly and you get everything you need. A four-seat business centre is also available. Here you can sometimes look at the computer and do something else or print. Wi-Fi is unfortunately charged in the room but in the lobby is free of charge. There is also a concierge desk where you can book or plan various tours or excursions.

The ATM in the hotel does not accept Maestro cards but it works well with other credit cards without any problems. In addition, a hairdresser and nail salon are found in the hotel. The hotel also offers its own airport shuttle service. It costs the same price as the yellow cabs to the airport.
