A great spot to grab a coffee at South Bank

Grab a Coffee at Dot Espresso

Where's a good place to grab a coffee after a fun morning at Streets Beach at South Bank? I can recommend Dot Espresso.
The coffee bar is located just next to the beach area and close to the changing rooms and toilets so the location is great for a quick and easy stop.

It's the cafe with the sheep outside!

Although it's a tiny place, you'll spot it easily as there is a life sized plastic sheep outside, nibbling fake grass. This is guaranteed to keep the children amused long enough for you to enjoy your coffee. They serve Di Bella Coffee's Modena blend and a simple range of tasty snacks, including some gluten-free options. I tried the pumpkin, halloumi and tomato toasted wrap last time I visited which was very tasty.

Great coffee at Dot Espresso

Although it's small, there are a number of tables and stools outside with sun umbrellas for shade, so it makes a good spot to watch the comings and goings at South Bank.

Good luck with the cafe competition Jane!

I love the sheep. It reminds me of these brass pigs that we have in Adelaide. They're in the middle of our main mall, just standing about and sniffing in rubbish bins.

The sheep is a cute little addition.

It's nice to see a Brisbane place in the cafe comp. I might just get to visit this one.
