Doodled Cats
is a new book by Gemma Correll, author and illustrator of Doodled Dogs. Similar to Doodled Dogs, it starts with suggestions for the tools you will need to draw (basically just pens), a place to stick in a picture of your own cat if you have one, and some facts about cats.

Then there are examples of different cat expressions and step by step instructions on how to draw cats in different positions, such as curled up, standing or stretching. There are templates to fill in with patterns and suggestions of different accessories and outfits to draw on your cats.

Cats by my 9 year old.

While this drawing book isn't marketed as for children, my children, aged 6 and 9, wanted to try out some of the drawing prompts and the instructions were simple enough for them to follow.

Doodled Cats is a cute book which could provide hours of fun drawing and coming up with new characters and designs. It would make a great gift for any cat lover.
