Finally, after being back and forth for several times, my time was here to try this small Korean restaurant, Don Woori, located on Victoria Street, North Melbourne.



To be able to enjoy the Korean BBQ and other dishes in here are pretty hard to get since you can't make a reservation through phone booking. Why not? Let me tell you what the reason is.
Friend of mine: Excuse me, may I get your telephone number please?

Waiter: Oh sorry, we don't even have a telephone line here.

Me: …

Yup, with that one sentence, it explains it all – it answers my question of why I can't get the telephone number by searching, but when I found it, the number is (03) 0000-0000.

And so, together with my friends, we've decided to go there and try our luck to get a table. We went on Saturday night at approximately 8:30pm. We went there and as expected the restaurant was full house in which it took 30mins for us to get a table.

As I walked in, I looked around and I realized the restaurant has a small space where it may fit about 25 to 30 customers. The interior design of the restaurant is mostly dominated with wood material along with a standard size of teppanyaki table which it may fit for 8 people.

After we made ourselves comfortable, we made our order (thanks for the 30 minutes waiting, we've decided what we wanted to have). And so, we ordered a set menu of Korean BBQ which included three types of BBQ meat together with one Spicy Kimchi Soup and in addition, we added a Seafood Kimchi Pancake and a Gyu Dan (Ox's Tongue).

Overall for the dishes, I'd say the food was satisfying - the portion is pretty much acceptable for the price given.

On the other side, as the restaurant itself has a pretty much small space, the size of the table is not capacious to serve all the dishes. And so, the waiter had to bring all our dishes one by one in which it is kind of the opposite idea of having a Korean dish where all the foods are served on the table.
