Bigger, Brighter and Better Than Ever!
Applecross Village will once again come alive this spring with the return of the much-loved, family-friendly Applecross Rotary Jacaranda Festival!
Now in its 24th year, this one-day extravaganza will be held on Sunday 24 November 2024 from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Come along and explore an amazing selection of boutique stallholders, enjoy a fabulous line-up of family-friendly entertainment, discover a community group hub, retreat to a quiet area for mums and kids and indulge in your favourites in the gourmet food zone!
Set amongst the magnificent blooming jacaranda trees of Applecross Village, the 2024 event is expected to attract 12 -15,000 eventgoers and feature 160+ producers, makers, retailers and community-based organisations.
Discover locally made arts & crafts, homewares, giftware, fashion and jewellery for the whole family and so much more. And don’t forget the vibrant hub of small businesses and cafes lining Ardross St. It's the perfect opportunity to spend a few leisurely hours perusing thoughtful Christmas gift ideas for family members, friends and co-workers.
If you are feeling peckish, head to the bustling gourmet food zone or check out one of the great cafes lining Ardross Street! There will be a wide variety of food options available to suit all dietary requirements and lots of shaded tables and chairs available.
As part of its commitment to volunteering in the community, there will be 11 Not for Profit groups on display, including Wheelchairs for Kids, ShelterBox and RAWKS, all prominent worldwide Rotary initiatives, Guide Dogs for the Blind and several sporting and environmental groups.
After meeting the talented producers, makers and creators and dedicated community members you can relax and unwind with awesome entertainment for the young and young at heart. Across the festival site will be lots of roaming Street Theatre, including a Stilt Walker, a Clown, Mr Accordian Man, African Drummers and Belly Dancers!
There is also entertainment for families including an animal farm, face painting and hair braiding, the Gym bus and Arties Umbrellas. NEW for 2024 is the ultimate video game experience for kids, all set in a funky LED lit van!

About Applecross Rotary Jacaranda Festival
Applecross Rotary Jacaranda Festival is run 100% by volunteers, with many hundreds of hours committed to the festival. All funds raised go back largely into our local world, with volunteer groups who support the day and charities, needy causes and local Rotary projects and beneficiaries. In the past 5 years alone, the event has been able to ‘give back’ over $170,000 from profits generated from the event.
Thank you to the Sponsors
Applecross Rotary is always grateful for the generous financial support it receives from both the City of Melville and LotteryWest who help underwrite the costs of this community event, and Edge Visionary Living for help with the Entertainment funding.
Regular Club sponsors The Good Grocer, Mont Realty, Pharmacy777 and Ross North Homes generously support the ongoing commitment of Applecross Rotary to its community.
