Simple stories about a complicated world
Stuart Bowden is a prodigious Australian theatre maker with a truly impressive output for one so young. He works professionally as an actor, writer, director and musician.

Recently returned to his native Melbourne from the UK where he lived for several years. His work has been performed all over the UK, Europe and in Australia.
His list of awards runs to about twenty-five and he's constantly adding to them.
He is currently touring a selection of his one-man shows on the Festival circuit to great acclaim and we are fortunate here in Perth that he's coming to Fringe World.

The collection is loosely entitled Don't Be Lonely, for absolutely no reason at all and consists of five shows, spread repertory-style over the production run - The World Holds Everyone Apart. Apart From Us about a space explorer called Avian searching the universe for a companion for Earth; The Beast, a poignant musical tale of a creature living in a cave; She Was Probably Not A Robot, described as 'a surreal, soulful comedy about a decomposing world'; Before Us, also using music, is the melancholic story of the last of an undiscovered species and Wilting in Reverse, an indefinable story containing many understandable words.
Each is only on for one performance, so consult the Fringe World website for session times.
Don't Be Lonely runs from the 7th to the 11th February at The Blue Room Theatre, Perth Cultural Centre, 53 James Street, Northbridge. Tickets cost from $23 and are available from the Fringe World website here.
