One of my favourite social settings is the relaxed dinner with friends. I am constantly scoping out restaurants that have the big three.

1) affordability
2) delicious food
3) BYO

I found a great one. Donini's is a small Italian restaurant I drove past for weeks. I always looked at it and decided last weekend to go and try it.

Firstly, the food was good, really good. My dining companions shared the cabonara party pizza, which they raved about. I got the 'Not Your Average Vegetarian Pizza', which had a chutney twist.

My favourite was the margherita pizza which had fresh boccocini and basil, enough to make my mouth water thinking about it.
The atmosphere was relaxed and charming. One of my favourite parts of this restaurant is that the owners are a couple - the husband does the cooking and the wife was our waitress. It adds a charming touch of care.

A cost effective, relaxed night out. It would be great for friends, a date or even takeaway!
