Children are at the very heart of everything SunnyKids do. SunnyKids provides a social and emotional safety net for thousands of children and their families in Queensland. SunnyKids actively works within schools and early education settings, providing creative and innovative solutions for children experiencing adversity. They partner with health and education service providers to link children and their families with the care they need to get back on their feet.

SunnyKids also provides over 8,000 nights of emergency accommodation to vulnerable adults and children each year and offers domestic violence and referral counselling to local families in need. To ensure the safety of every child, SunnyKids will continue to educate and inform the community about the devastating impacts of family and domestic violence. Early intervention is essential to break the cycle of violence and SunnyKids will continue to advocate for women and children to keep them safe.

This Christmas, The Ginger Factory are once again partnering with SunnyKids to help spread joy and hope to children in need. From 11 November to 12 December, visitors to The Ginger Factory are invited to give a gift of love, by placing a present under The Ginger Factory’s tree.

Plus … when you donate, you will be entered for a chance to win two Rockhopper Sport bikes, one for you and one to gift to a child in need. Whether you’re racing on the weekend or enjoying a ride through the week, the Rockhopper Sport is always ready to roll.

To enter in the competition:
1. Donate your gift at The Ginger Factory from 11 November to 12 December
2. Scan the QR code at the Christmas tree and fill out the website form with your details

Gift Giving Considerations to note:

Please do not wrap gifts. This will allow SunnyKids to direct each one to the most appropriate recipient. You are welcome to supply a gift bag or gift wrap separately if you wish, but this isn’t a necessity.

Please only donate new items. If you would like to donate second-hand goods, it is recommended to give these directly to Lifeline, Life House or other charity shops.

Please do not donate toy weapons or items that promote violence of any kind. Many of the children SunnyKids assist have experienced domestic violence and may find these items distressing.
