Nestled in between the busy streets of Melbourne is the smaller laneways and their small shops and restaurants. One such restaurant in one of the laneways is Don Don, a Japanese restaurant which offers a small selection of fresh and healthy Japanese dishes. Some of the dishes on offer include a soba salad, niku udon, and buta teriyaki don. However, not only are these dishes delicious and fresh, but they also really cheap as each of the dishes cost between $7 and $10.

Therefore, it is not surprising that this restaurant is very popular with dinners at both lunch and dinner time. As a result, Don Don can very busy at times and seating is at a premium at these peak times, so it's best to move into the restaurant to the back dining area to nab a seat. Although since the food is prepared in an instant, I suggest waiting at the counter for it before grabbing a seat.

Please note Don Don is a cash only restaurant and doesn't accept cards, so grab some cash before coming to avoid embarrassment.
