Domestic violence affects so many in our community. Unfortunately, most of us know someone who has been affected by violence in the home, whether it be verbal, emotional or physical. We all pray that it will never happen to ourselves or our loved ones. Unfortunately, all too many people are hurt by it every year.

Have you been affected or do you know someone who has had their life changed due to violence in the home?

Join us on the evening of 7 May 2014 at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs as we remember those women, men and children who have died because of domestic and family violence all around Australia.

We welcome and encourage support from the whole community to bring awareness to and stamp out domestic violence.

Bring a red rose as a sign of remembrance.

Programme:

5.30pm Gathering, Welcome to Country, Speaker, First Reading
6pm Lighting of the Candles, A minutes silence, Closing - Reading / Song
6.20pm Darkness to Daylight Challenge Runners head off to start the 110km challenge
