Show your support & stamp out domestic violence in Australia
Domestic violence affects so many in our community. Unfortunately, most of us know someone who has been affected by violence in the home, whether it be verbal, emotional or physical. We all pray that it will never happen to ourselves or our loved ones. Unfortunately, all too many people are hurt by it every year.
Have you been affected or do you know someone who has had their life changed due to violence in the home?
Join us on the evening of 7 May 2014 at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs as we remember those women, men and children who have died because of domestic and family violence all around Australia.
We welcome and encourage support from the whole community to bring awareness to and stamp out domestic violence.
Bring a red rose as a sign of remembrance.

They offer free, professional and non-judgemental telephone support, wherever you live in Queensland.
DVConnect Womensline takes over 4000 calls every month from Queensland women who are in fear of or in immediate threat of danger from Domestic or Family Violence, and on average we assist over 350 of them and often more than 400 children to be moved to safety every month.
