5 Stars - The Best Rising Star in Magic
Dom Chambers first hit the Adelaide Fringe scene in 2018 with his show RanDom. Things have certainly been exciting for Dom since he first graced our city. In 2018, he received accolades after appearing on Penn & Teller's Fool Us. After that, he made a deep run in Season 14 of America's Got Talent, getting multiple standing ovations and making it as far as the semi-finals.

Now Dom Chambers has returned with his new show, Fake Wizard. A culmination of all he's learned on his journey. If you've seen his previous shows or watched him on AGT, some of his tricks do cross over. However, what has truly evolved is Dom Chambers showmanship. Dom has always had an easygoing yet engaging approach to his act. Now a couple of years on he has truly transitioned from magician to entertainer. Fake Wizard is exciting, funny, and intriguing as Dom expertly controls the pace and flow, creating a buzz in the atmosphere.

From producing beer, after beer, after beer, seemingly from thin air to having a chat with his iPhone/assistant Siri, Dom knows how to enthral and work a crowd. Despite only being on the magic scene for a relatively short amount of time, Chambers has proved himself as an outstanding and versatile performer. Winning 'Best Magic Show' at the Adelaide Fringe in 2019 and earning accolades the world over, the sky is the limit for Dom. The polish and execution of Fake Wizard are astounding considering it's Dom's 3rd year here.

This is a name you have to look out for, either because this could be the biggest rising star in the magic scene or because he just destroyed your phone. Dom Chambers is the real deal and with his show, Fake Wizard, he proves to his parents, magic was his calling. Fake Wizard is performing every night until the 8th of March.
