Be sure to get along to an outdoor shopping market for the latest products and services focusing on the four-leggeds at this year's Dogs on the Green Halloween Markets at Benowa State School on the Gold Coast.



Imagine spending a day combining the joy and celebration of one of our favourite companions animals against the backdrop of the fun of the spooky and kooky Halloween season. Why not get amongst all the offerings at the Dogs on the Green Halloween Markets on Sunday 27 October 2024.

This FREE community market will feature a massive 70 stalls offering all the essential and special treats and services a pampered pup could need. Treats, meals, vets, supplements, clothing, skincare, accessories, artists, photography, dog walkers/sitters, vets, trainers, therapies and lots more.



Importantly, representatives from Rescue Groups (including Schnauzer Rescue Queensland ) will be at the markets where you can support their important work to care for and find forever homes for these beautiful bearded dogs who are ready to start a new life story. Along with merchandise, be sure to look out for raffles for these rescue groups with lots of great prizes to be won.

Food and drinks will also be available including coffee, delicious breakfast bacon and egg rolls, refreshing slushies, dessert options, vegan specialities and more.

Of course, the Markets are dog-friendly but be sure to keep your pups on a leash at all times. Free parking is available on site and in surrounding streets. So be sure to head along between 9am to 1pm.

The RSPCA reports that there are currently an estimated 28.7 million pets in Australia which has one of the highest pet ownership rates in the world. Approximately 69% of households in Australia own pets, with dogs being the most common (48%), followed by cats (33%).
