Have you ever wondered what your dog was thinking, or if you could just understand why he/she was doing a certain thing? Well, you can. Come along on Sunday 20th January 2019 to
Princes Park in Carlton North where you will be given a free one-hour interactive session with the Lost Dogs' Home behaviour team.
The
Lost Dogs' Home was established in 1910 to provide a temporary home for Melbourne's lost and starving dogs. It is the largest animal shelter in Australia and cares for approximately 21,000 lost, stray, injured and abandoned dogs and cats every year. They operate a 24/7 animal pick-up service, facilitates reuniting and rehoming of dogs in adoption processes as well as providing medical and behavioural treatments.
This is a free event and there will be two sessions held on Sunday – 10.00am and 11.30am. Bring along your dog's favourite training treats to assist in the session. You will learn to understand your dog's body language and behaviour with positive reinforcement training. All breeds of dogs are welcome.
The event will be held in the northern off-leash area of Princes Park, 200-590 Royal Parade
Carlton North. This will be a great opportunity for you and your dog to have fun together while learning some favourable tips and training. For further details, please email
