7 Dogs in the Park Events in Sydney

There are seven dogs in the park events this Spring and many of us love to go to events where we can take our dog along!

All these events are FREE.



[b]1) DOGS IN THE PARK - SUTHERLAND SHIRE**
Locals can participate in all activities such as dog demonstrations and the always popular dog races and pet adoption day. Come and support local dog rescue groups within the region.

The activities that are proposed for the event include:

There is also an opportunity to raise money for a dog-related charitable organisation such as different Doggie Rescue Groups.

These items are not necessarily all available at each function and are general photos of the type of items available.

It will be held on Sunday 25th August 2019 from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm at the Don Lucas Reserve, 1 Mitchell Road, Cronulla. You can book for this free event here.

2. DOGS IN THE PARK CASTLE HILL
This is the same as the event above and will be held on Sunday 18th August 2019 from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. It will be held at the Castle Hills Showground and is also hosted by Dogs in the Park, NSW. You can read more on their Facebook page.

[b]3. DOGS IN THE PARK PENRITH**
Proposed activities for this event include dog sports demonstrations, best-dressed pet competitions, dog races competitions, dog trick contest and interactive stalls. They will also raise money for a dog-related charitable organisation.

The event will be on Sunday 8th September 2019, from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm at Jamison Park, Penrith.

[b]4. DOGS IN THE PARK BATHURST**
This one in Bathurst will be held on Sunday 15th September from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. It will be held at Bathurst Showground. More information on their Facebook page.

[b]5. DOGS IN THE PARK MATTARA FESTIVAL NEWCASTLE**
This will be on Monday 7th October from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. The venue is Wallsend Park, 99 Cowper Street, Wallsend. It is also a free event and will be similar to the others.

[b]6. DOGS IN THE PARK - CUMBERLAND**
This will be on Sunday 20th October from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. It will be held at Holroyd Gardens, Pitt Street and Walpole Street, Merrylands. At this stage, they still have stalls available for hire, so if you have doggie items to sell, please contact them.

[b]7. DOGS IN THE PARK - SHELLHARBOUR**
This will be on Sunday 27th October from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. The venue here is the Albion Park Showground, Albion Park.


All of these events will have action-packed functions on and should be great fun! Don't forget to bring your dog to enter her/him in competitions!
